The Tizi n’Tichka, also known as the Col du Tichka in French, will be passed. At an elevation of 2260 meters above sea level, this is a well-known Moroccan mountain pass. The High Atlas mountain range is home to this path to the desert. Tizi n’Tichka means “difficult mountain meadow” in the local Berber Amazigh language.

You will arrive at Ksar Ait Benhaddou, a former trailer outpost carrying goods between Marrakech and destinations in sub-Saharan Africa, after some strategic photo stops along the way.UNESCO has inscribed Ait Benhaddou on UNESCO's World Heritage List.

Many well-known box office films, such as Gladiator, were filmed in this location. The village was utilized as the spectacular scene of Russel Crowe’s Capua Arena fight in the tiny trailer below.

Investigate the region and submit to this gigantic natural rock formation. As you enter the Sahara Desert, the change in landscape is as obvious as it is fantastic. The Morocco itinerary 7 days to the desert could not get any better.Get there in time for a camel ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After that, you will be placed in a true desert camp, where you will spend the night in a tent, with dinner and breakfast.

They still follow many customs today, which results in a very intriguing and innovative way of living.
You will be escorted to your accommodation after visiting the Hassilabied oasis. Enjoy the rest of the day and relax until it’s time to go camel trekking shortly before nightfall. You’ll spend the night on the dunes at a desert camp. If you thought your Sahara adventure couldn’t get much better, you were mistaken. The beautiful mud town of Tamnougalt, at the heart of the spectacular Draa Valley, is our last stop today.

We pass through the desert after leaving the dunes and arrive in Rissani, where we quickly visit the main traditional market of the city. Today's trip will be mind-blowing as we walk through pristine African landscapes. As far as fossils are concerned, the place is known to be one of the wealthiest in the world. We will stop for breakfast on the road to Nkob, a Berber community known for its 39 well-preserved kasbahs.

Day 6: Erg Chigaga Dunes – Draa Valley – Agdz – Fint Oasis

To enjoy the sunrise in the desert, get up early. The Erg Chigaga Dunes are Morocco’s longest dunes. They covered a very large area. The feeling of being in the wild is palpable, and you will relish every moment of it. It’s time to get dressed, pack your belongings, and eat breakfast. We’ll drive north to Ouarzazate, passing through the magnificent Draa Valley and Jbel Saghro.
Additionally, before arriving in Fint, you will pause to shoot the spectacular panoramic vista of the Agdz palm grove. A palm grove with steep cliffs, a lovely traditional stone village, and friendly people combine to provide a unique experience. Spend the night at a hotel with a spectacular view, along with dinner and breakfast.

Day 7: Fint Oasis – Kasbah Tifoultoute – Marrakech

We will leave our accommodation in Ouarzazate after breakfast to explore many sites in the city. The lovely Taourirt Kasbah, a 17th-century mud palace, is our first stop. You have the option of hiring a professional guide. He’ll go over the intricacies of the kasbah. Alternatively, you can simply purchase a ticket and tour the area on your own. Keep an eye out for the most essential rooms, which have ceiling decorations and window views.
We travel on from Taourirt to the spectacular Atlas Film Studios. Don’t get the wrong idea about this facility; we’re talking about living studios. It’s possible that you’ll pay a visit to this location while it’s being used for a major Holywood production. Maybe you’ll run across Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt?! Who can say…
Babel, The Living Daylights, Black Hawk Down, Gladiator, Alexander the Great, and Kingdom of Heaven were all filmed at the Atlas Studios Ouarzazate over the years. For example, Kundun, Body of Lies, The Mummy, and Star Wars. In the clip below, you can see behind-the-scenes footage from the Kingdom of Heaven film, including how the Siege of Jerusalem was prepared for filming in Ouarzazate. It’s very intriguing.
You will be escorted across the high Atlas Mountains after visiting Ouarzazate. To cross the mountain range and arrive to our last goal of the day, Marrakech, we had to climb to altitudes above 2200 meters.

The mountain crossing will take you through stunning scenery. If you visit Morocco between late November and late February, you will undoubtedly see snow in this location. The contrast between traveling through the Sahara Desert and arriving in Marrakech is incredible.
You will be escorted to your riad/hotel when you arrive in Marrakech. This concludes of 7 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga sightseeing We hope you enjoyed yourself.
