CAMEL RIDING TOURS FROM MERZOUGA TO ERG CHEBBI DUNES

Enjoy our camel riding tour from Merzouga to the amazing erg Chebbi dunes, spending a magical night in the desert camps.

ONE DESERT NIGHT – LUXURY OPTION

DAY 1

The camel trek departs from our accommodation in Merzouga at around 5 pm and includes stops along the dunes for pictures, a nice spot to catch the sunset, head down to the camp, ment tea and sweet cookies upon arrival, be showen to your beautiful ensuite private tent with private western bathroom and hot shower, dinner under the stars beside the bonfire, local music and dance, overnight stay.

DAY 2

Next day early morning wake up to watch the sunrise over the dunes, back to the camp for breakfast, camel ride return to Merzouga, end of the trek at around 9:30am

NIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DUNES OF ERG CHEBBI

Yes its possible, the camp is in the dunes, simple & basic, there nothing luxury, no bathroom and no shower, you will get a berber tent with bed & blankets, surrounded by the dunes in every direction, there no other camps, no tourists, you will be alone with your guide and camels.

The Camel riding leaves from Merzouga, goes thru the dunes of Erg Chebbi, nice spot to watch the sunset, dinner at the camp, overnight stay in a very peaceful location in the dunes, early morning wake up to watch the sunrise, Camel riding back to Merzouga, breakfast at our lodge, shower, end of the trek. You should expect around 1 hour Camel riding from Merzouga to the camp & another 1 hour Camel riding back from the dunes of Erg Chebbi to Merzouga. What makes this trek unique is that you live the experience in the middle of the dunes

ONE DESERT NIGHT – VIP OPTION

DAY 1

Depending to your arrival (we are very flexible), meet at our accommodation or anywhere of your choice within Merzouga, you will have the option either to go on a private luxury AC 4×4 to the camp or by camels, the tour includes stops along the dunes, a nice spot for the sunset, check in your VIP private most confortable royal tent with ensuite western bathroom and hot shower, cold water and fruits available in your tent, dinner under the stars beside the bonfire, beer or wine as per request, then local drumming and dancing on the open air of the camp, overnight stay.

DAY 2

Next day an early morning wake up to climb the dunes, no need to set your alarm clock somebody will wake you up, catch the sunrise, you have the choice to either have breakfast at the camp or back at the hotel, return by camels or by the 4×4 with the possibility to shower at the end of the tour, end of our services.
