A day trip from Marrakech to Ouzoud Cascades et Villages berbères starting in visiting the Cascades d’Ouzoud, you will be able to admire the nearby olive trees that gave their Berber name to the waterfalls and carob trees.

You will also see monkeys moving freely in their natural habitat around you and swinging from olive tree to olive tree. The road leading to the Cascades d’Ouzoud passes through many Berber villages, taking you from the plain to the mountains.

When you arrive at an altitude of 900 meters, you will discover one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Morocco: three large waterfalls that divide into a complex network to feed ponds 100 meters lower, where it is nice to bathe.

You can have lunch with the soothing sound of the falls at small cafes and restaurants located on terraces. The magots, or funny little monkeys, are sure to come and tease you

You will depart from your hotel or riad in Marrakech early in the morning at 8 am, accompanied by an English-speaking driver/guide. The road you take passes through the Haouz plain and a series of villages and small towns.

Mountain

A mountain road then leads to the Ouzoud Falls, about 110 meters high, located in the province of Tanaghmeilt, 150 kilometers from Marrakech, in the Atlas Mountains

Waterfalls

The walk near the waterfalls is very beautiful, allowing you to approach the waterfalls on both sides while enjoying the local flora and fauna. You may see a large number of monkeys during your visit.

The more intrepid can opt for a swim in the river; the water is very clean even if its temperature is not very high.

We will descend to explore the beautiful waterfalls that flow among the olive trees. You will take a nice walk around the area, observing the signs. We will have lunch at a restaurant with panoramic views of the waterfalls. We will return to Marrakech by the same road and arrive at your hotel or riad at the end of the day.
