Tour Plan
Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen
We will begin explore our tour with a drive through the Rif Mountains and past the city of Tetouan. we'll enjoy views of the landscape, we will stop to rest at the feet of the Rif mountains in Chefchaouen. The medina in Chefchaouen features strong Spanish architecture, as it was once part of "Spanish Morocco." we'll Explore the funky artisanal shops and rooftop restaurants and cafes in the square or relax in the Riads with a nice breeze and wonderful view in the evening.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes
After a breakfast, we'll journey continues towards Volubilis, passing through Ouazan and other Rif villages, and Volubilis, we will explore the Roman ruins and learn about Moroccan history and culure. We will then continue on to Meknes, where we will stop for lunch and explore the historical walls of the medina, including Bab el Mansour, and visit the Moulay Ismail shrine. and in the afternoon, we will head to Fes, where we will spend the night in Riad or Hotel.
Day 3: Exploring Fes – guided tour of the city
We’ll start the day exploring the oldest city in Morocco, snaking through its alleys and narrow streets. We’ll begin sightseeing at the Royal Palace gate, followed by the Jewish headquarter where the first Mellah ever was built in Morocco, during the 16th century. We’ll ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region. We’ll also visit the Tanneries, the Attarine museum, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you’ll visit many different cooperatives and then, experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes.
Day 4: Fes – Merzouga desert
We will begin the day with a drive towards the Atlas Mountains, stopping to visit the village of Ifrane. Here, we will have the opportunity to explore the famous cedar forest, home to the Berber apes. We will then continue through the Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass and the Ziz Gorge, where we can stop for you take pictures and local mint tea, to Midelt. We will then continue on to Merzouga, arriving at our campsite where we will spend the night.
Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorges
We will wake up and go to a local hotel, or Riad where you will have the chance to freshen up and enjoy a complimentary breakfast before we continue on to Ouarzazate. Along the way, we will visit Berber villages and the Todra and Dades Gorges. At the Dades Gorge, we will stop at a local hotel where we will spend the night and be treated to a complimentary dinner.
Day 6: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast, we will continue our tour towards Ouarzazate along the path of a thousand Kasbahs (fortresses). We will stop at Kalaat Mgouna, the center of the Valley of Roses, which is famous for its annual Rose Festival. We will then drive through Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is famous for being used as a film location for the HBO series Game of Thrones, as well as movies like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.
Day 7: Ait Benhaddou – Essaouira
After breakfast, we will take the Tizi-n-Tichka Mountain pass to Marrakech, bringing us closer to the Atlantic coast and the city of Essaouira, known as the Pearl of the Atlantic.In the afternoon, we will check in at a local riad or hotel, and then go out to watch the sunset from the Murallas (walls that fortify the city), an experience you won't want to miss. In the evening, we will be treated to a dinner of the freshest fish in the city and later take an evening stroll through its quiet and picturesque setting.
Day 8: Essaouira guided tour
Today, you will have the opportunity to explore the ancient city of Mogador, a name given by the Portuguese. Rated as one of the most beautiful coastal cities on the Atlantic, its medina is a canvas of blue and white surrounded by long beaches and the ancient citadel walls of the Portuguese colonial era. We will spend the night at a local Riad or Hotel.
Day 9: Essaouira – Marrakesh
After lunch at the port, we will make minimal stops as we head to Marrakesh, spending the night at a local Riad or hotel
Day 10: Marrakesh Guided Tour
Today, we will have a guided tour of Marrakesh. You will explore the main attractions and monuments of the city, including the famous Jamma el Fna square, Koutoubia mosque, the souks, palaces, and museums. We will also visit parts of the city such as Gueliz, the Menara Gardens, and Majorelle. After lunch at a local restaurant, We will have the opportunity to explore the city.
Day 11: Marrakesh airport
we will finish our adventure you’ll be transferred (punctually) from Hotel or Raid to the airport.
